Formula 1:
- Ingredients: 3 pounds of mixed feed for chickens, ducks, and pigs, an appropriate amount of salt, and 1 bottle of beer.
- Method:Add the mixed feed to an appropriate amount of salt and pour in 1 bottle of beer. Stir well and place it in a sealed plastic bottle. Seal the bottle and let it ferment. During the summer, it generally needs about two days to ferment, while in winter, it requires about a week. Once you open the bottle, the aroma of alcohol will fill the air. This bait is ideal for fishing with sea rods and explosion hooks. Before use, add pond water and an appropriate amount of flour, mixing well. It will be even more effective. When adding water, knead the bait into small balls.
Formula 2:
- Ingredients: 100 grams of liquor (liqueur), 100 grams of wheat, 20 ml of Fish Xun No. 1 (a type of fishing medicine), and 20 grams of honey.
- Method:Wash the dry wheat clean, soak it in water for a day, then place it in a pot and cook until the wheat kernels burst open. Afterward, drain the excess water and put the wheat into a bottle. Add Fish Xun No. 1, honey, and the liquor to the bottle, and let it soak for at least half a month. The longer it soaks, the better. Once done, it can be used. Make sure to perform the baiting action gently. This is suitable for hand pole fishing for carp, and you should use 2 to 3 pieces of wheat per hook. Fish Xun No. 1 has a sweet and strong aroma, with a sweet and sour taste. It can stimulate fish to bite, has strong penetration, and attracts fish quickly, significantly improving the catch rate.
Bait Preparation:
- Granular Bait:(1) Use granular bait.(2) Soak granular bait with beer, then mix with white flour to form a dough.
(3) Soak granular bait in pond water, then mix with white flour to form a dough.
(4) Mix half granular bait (soaked in pond water) with half Dongjun carp bait, adding 2–3 tablespoons of honey and white flour to form a dough.
To ensure that the bait is fresh and flavorful, it should be prepared before fishing. If possible, soak the granular bait the night before fishing, then get up early the next morning to mix the other ingredients together and seal the mixture in a plastic bag for later use. All of these baits work well, with the fourth option being the best.
(5) When fishing in wild rivers or reservoirs, in addition to the above baits, you can also use fresh tender corn kernels (or corn kernels soaked in white liquor and white sugar), worms, and insects.
Attractants:
- Attractant Option 1: Soak granular bait with white liquor, seal it in a plastic bag, and let it ferment overnight.
- Attractant Option 2: Mix 1/3 of soaked granular bait, 1/3 cornmeal, and 1/3 white flour, then add some white sugar. Make it into small steamed buns (窝窝头), cool them, cut them into small pieces, and store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. It can also be dried and sealed for storage. Before use, spray some white liquor for better effect.
- Attractant Option 3: When fishing in wild rivers or reservoirs, in addition to the above two attractants, you can also use small pieces of soybean cake, fresh corn kernels, or chew some insects to create a baiting effect, which works very well.
When using attractants, you can use them singly or mix several types together for more flexibility.
