Bait

Sea Rod Carp Bait Preparation Method

Recipe 1:

  1. Ingredients: 3 pounds of mixed feed for chickens, ducks, and pigs, an appropriate amount of salt, and 1 bottle of beer.
  2. Preparation Method:
Add the mixed feed, an appropriate amount of salt, and the entire bottle of beer into a container. Stir thoroughly and pour the mixture into a well-sealed plastic bottle. Seal the bottle and let it ferment. In summer, it typically takes around two days to ferment, while in winter it may take about a week. Once you open the bottle, a strong aroma of alcohol will emerge. This bait is ideal for use with a sea rod and explosion hook for fishing. Before using, add some pond water from the fishing site and an appropriate amount of flour, then mix it thoroughly. When mixing with water, simply squeeze the bait into clumps.

Recipe 2:

  1. Ingredients: 100 grams of Chinese liquor (qujiu), 100 grams of wheat, 20 ml of Fish Rush No. 1 bait additive, and 20 grams of honey.
  2. Preparation Method

    :

Wash the dry wheat thoroughly. Soak the wheat in water for 1 day, then cook it in a pot until the wheat grains burst open. Drain the water and place the wheat in a bottle. Add Fish Rush No. 1 bait additive, honey, and qujiu, and let it soak for at least half a month (the longer, the better). Once prepared, it is ready for use. Be sure to handle the bait gently when using it. This bait is suitable for hand rods for carp fishing, and you should put 2 to 3 wheat grains on the hook. Fish Rush No. 1 has a rich, sweet fragrance, and its sour-sweet taste can stimulate the fish to bite. It has excellent penetration power and attracts fish quickly, significantly improving the catch rate.

1. Fishing Bait:

(1) Granular Bait
(2) Granular bait soaked in beer and mixed with white flour.
(3) Granular bait soaked in pond water and mixed with white flour.
(4) Half granular bait (soaked in pond water) + half Dongjun carp bait + 2-3 tablespoons of honey + white flour mixed together.

To ensure the bait is fresh and flavorful, it should be prepared the night before you go fishing. Soak the granular bait the night before, and in the morning, mix in the other ingredients. Seal the mixture in a plastic bag for storage. All four types of baits work well, with the fourth one being the best.

(5) When fishing in wild rivers or reservoirs, in addition to the baits mentioned above, you can also use fresh, tender corn kernels (or corn kernels soaked in white liquor and mixed with sugar), worms, insects, etc.

2. Attractant:

(1) Granular bait sprayed with white liquor and sealed in a plastic bag (let it ferment overnight).
(2) Granular bait (1/3 soaked in water), cornmeal (1/3), white flour (1/3), and a little white sugar mixed together to form “mantou” (a type of steamed bread). Steam it, let it cool, then cut it into small pieces. Store it in a plastic bag in the freezer, or dry it and seal it for storage. Spraying some white liquor on it before use works even better.
(3) When fishing in wild rivers or reservoirs, in addition to the above two types of attractants, you can also use small pieces of soybean cake or tender corn chewed slightly to form a baiting ball. This works very well. When using the attractants, you can use them individually or mix them together, depending on the situation.
